Founder and President

Jodi Karabin is the Founder and President of Jmk Behavior, LLC. She has over 12 years of experience in organizational training and development, with expertise in individual, group and organizational behavior. She is a published researcher in Social Interactionist Theory and behavior in the workplace. Her core value is promoting human welfare. Early in her career she was a project manager/environmental scientist and later shifted into organizational development in the biomedical industry. With her extensive knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis, Jodi found her niche working directly with people. She was a Behavior Specialist Consultant/Mobile Therapist as well as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. She developed and implemented multiple clinical programs throughout her career including adolescent intensive outpatient, Suboxone, Trauma intensive seminar, and Female specific addiction treatment.

Jodi is a Delaware native, but spent the bulk of her career in Pennsylvania. She returned to Delaware in 2012 and took a position as a clinical supervisor in a deinstitutionalization program for those who are diagnosed with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). She worked directly with state officials to determine the needs of the population and discovered a gap in resources. Jmk Behavior, LLC was established in 2013 in an effort to expand services for people in Delaware who are diagnosed with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability.

Jodi received her BS from University of Delaware and two MA degrees (Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Clinical Psychology) from West Chester University. She graduated Suma Cum Laude and is a member of multiple honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Psi Chi. In addition, she is a Golden Key National Merit Scholar.
