Jodi Karabin, Founding Team Director
Jodi Karabin is the Founder and President of JMK Behavior, LLC. She received her BS from University of Delaware and two MA degrees (Industrial/Organization Psychology and Clinical Psychology) from West Chester University. She is a licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) and a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor.
Jodi’s expertise is in Organizational Training and Development, primarily focused on individual, group and organizational behaviors. Her skillset in this area and extensive knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as well as psychotherapy has allowed her to implement clinical programs throughout her career which include: Adolescent Intensive Outpatient, Suboxone, Methadone, Trauma Intensive Seminar, and Female Specific Addiction Treatment.
As a Delaware native Jodi has spent the bulk of her career in Pennsylvania. In 2012, she returned to Delaware to assume a clinical leadership position working towards deinstitutionalization of individuals diagnosed with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). In working with state officials, a gap in needs was identified. It was evident there was a strong need for the benefits in ABA services thus launching JMK Behavior, LLC in 2013. JMK’s goal was to expand services for individuals in Delaware diagnosed with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability.
Jodi’s passion for social justice and dedication to the human services field allowed her to create a team of equally passionate and skilled clinicians with a primary goal of putting their clients’ needs first and foremost.
Victoria Hetrick, Clinical Programs Director
Victoria Hetrick is the Clinical Programs Director for JMK Behavior, LLC. She received her BA in Psychology from La Salle University and her MA at Eastern University in Clinical Counseling with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis. She became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in 2017.
Victoria’s journey has allowed her to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injury, substance abuse, and mental illness. Her career began within a residential setting under the supervision of Behavior Analysts. Her clients have ranged from the ages of 13-102! She made it her priority to conduct research on potential improvements to the quality of life for those in her care.
Victoria successfully transitioned from New Jersey to Delaware in a continued pursuit to work with the Adult population that she is passionate about. Her diverse background in mental health and applied behavior analysis allows her the ability to see the ‘whole picture’ with a client and support that client effectively with the clinical services required.
Skye Pardini, Clinical Programs Manager
Skye Pardini is the Clinical Programs Manager for JMK Behavior, LLC. She holds a Master’s in Education with a background in Psychology. Skye’s 26-year career working with children on the autism spectrum and adults with a wide range of mental health diagnosis has allowed her the opportunity to provide Clinical Supervision, Behavioral Consulting and Analysis, and many years teaching in a classroom, along with the unique experience of working with educators and doctors in Kazan Russia, providing lecture and demonstration of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Skye’s primary focus is working with teams at residential and day/work programs, as well as families, psych providers, support coordinators and nurses. Additionally, she works in partnership with the Clinical Director of JMK to train the BA’s and provide ongoing guidance to uphold the high standards expected from JMK Behavior.
Skye’s personal mission is to provide the highest quality of services to individuals, as well as guidance and support to the teams working with those clients. Her focus is on an increased quality of life for the individuals she works with, through identification of functional alternative behaviors to support behavioral reduction and development of strong rapport with the entire team.
Amanda Wilt, Clinical Programs Coordinator
Amanda Wilt holds the position of Clinical Programs Coordinator for JMK Behavior. LLC. She received her BS in Business Management from Wilmington University. Amanda’s 12+ year career has spanned the Mortgage Industry as a Team Lead and the Tax/Accounting Industry as an Administrative Assistant. In parallel, Amanda served as the Manager of a local, well-known, Children’s Swim School. Amanda realized that It was this position that brought to light her passion for working with children of all ages and abilities.
Amanda’s continued journey has led her to become a supporter and vocal advocate for children with emotional and developmental disabilities including extensive experience working with children with Autism.
Amanda is very active in her community and surrounding areas in the fight to support children fighting cancer. She also serves as a camp counselor at Kay’s Camp in Newark, Delaware and Camp No Worries
in Moorestown, NJ which are both responsible for providing these children an outlet to pursue ‘being a kid’. Amanda has recently been awarded a position as a Board Member and Event Coordinator for Nathan’s Story, another organization created to fund the fight against childhood cancer.
Amanda’s background in the support of ‘people’, make her a perfect fit to assist JMK Behavior on their path forward to put their clients’ first.
