Jodi Karabin is the Founder and President of JMK Behavior, LLC. She received her BS from University of Delaware and two MA degrees (Industrial/Organization Psychology and Clinical Psychology) from West Chester University. She is a licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) and a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor.
Jodi’s expertise is in Organizational Training and Development, primarily focused on individual, group and organizational behaviors. Her skillset in this area and extensive knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as well as psychotherapy has allowed her to implement clinical programs throughout her career which include: Adolescent Intensive Outpatient, Suboxone, Methadone, Trauma Intensive Seminar, and Female Specific Addiction Treatment.
As a Delaware native Jodi has spent the bulk of her career in Pennsylvania. In 2012, she returned to Delaware to assume a clinical leadership position working towards deinstitutionalization of individuals diagnosed with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). In working with state officials, a gap in needs was identified. It was evident there was a strong need for the benefits in ABA services thus launching JMK Behavior, LLC in 2013. JMK’s goal was to expand services for individuals in Delaware diagnosed with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability.
Jodi’s passion for social justice and dedication to the human services field allowed her to create a team of equally passionate and skilled clinicians with a primary goal of putting their clients’ needs first and foremost.
